PAS is firmly standing by its Perak chief Razman Zakaria and others who have come out against the China flag-waving incident in Teluk Intan.
While glossing over Razman's racially charged remarks yesterday, party deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man demanded the government take action against those who were "unpatriotic" and instigated provocation.
"(Also act against) those who defended such actions, not investigate those who made police reports," he said in a statement yesterday.
On Thursday, controversy erupted after China nationals waved their country's flag during the Guan Gong cultural festival.
In response, Razman appeared to have organised a counter rally yesterday to wave the Jalur Gemilang at the same location - Teluk Intan's Menara Condong.

During the rally, he also made veiled calls for Malay unity, using physical characteristics as a reference point.
“We ask those whose eyes are like this (while pointing to his eyes), skin like this (while pointing to his skin), and blood like ours, we must unite, this is the struggle we champion,” he had said.
Police probe underway
Police said today that they are probing Razman over the gathering for failure to notify the police as required by the Peaceful Assembly Act.
In a statement today, Tuan Ibrahim said the issue isn't just about flags but about loyalty to the country.
Any act of glorifying other countries, he said, should be condemned by Malaysians, unlike DAP whom he accused of defending such actions.
He also said the incident that caused unease among Malays began with the nine Penang Chinese schools objecting to a directive from the Education Ministry about the Dual Language Programme (DLP), followed by the Chinese navy's visit to Penang.
Brother, where is your underwear made? Go home and check how many appliances etc are from China. So can you please stop being so idiotic and racist?
What about waving Palestine flag? Unpatriotic?
